How to make Teriyaki Sauce at home:
INGREDIENTS
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon ginger root, grated fresh
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, pressed or finely minced
- Garnish: 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
STEPS TO MAKE:
- 1. Combine the soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, pepper, and brown sugar in a saucepan. Boil and stirring constantly for 3 minutes. Avoid boil bubbles.
- 2. Remove from heat, mix well in the garlic and ginger root. Keep it aside to settle at room temperature.
- 3. Stir with green onions. It’s ready.
